Senior Service Network
A Senior Service Network meeting is held the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. It is held at the Senior Center, at 901 Beverly Drive, Carson City.
Senior Service Network is a non-profit organization. Their primary objective is to provide emergency financial assistance to seniors when they have nowhere else to turn, through our Senior In Need emergency assistance fund. Members collaborate with the goal of having a positive impact on the quality of life for senior citizens. This is accomplished by networking and sharing our expertise, and we provide and receive updates on the events, social issues, and services available for the senior citizens within our communities. Tears & Rainbows
Tears & Rainbows bereavement support group meets in the Media Room at The Lodge, an assisted living & memory care community, the first and third Wednesdays from 6-7:30pm and also the second and fourth Wednesdays from 1-2:30pm. Call 775-283-9888 for more information.
The Wisdom Circle
The Wisdom Circle support group for seniors to bond with our Boys & Girls Club youth and provide support to them meets every Thursday from 3-4pm in The Lodge's Media Room. Call 775-283-9888 for more information.
Lunch and Learn
Lunch and Learn is a support group for families living with dementia including Alzheimer's which meets every third Wednesday from 12:30-1:30pm in The Lodge's Media Room (lunch provided). Call 775-283-9888 for more information.
