Adeana Lemaster, Aspen House Director

My name is Adeana Lemaster. I am the Aspen House Director here at Mountain Springs Senior Care Community and grew up in Bakersfield, CA.

I had never worked with seniors before I came here. I had been a manager of a big retail chain that closed down. I went to several other retail chains and they would only hire within. So I thought that if I had to start all over at the bottom, I would try something new. In December 2003, I started working for Mountain Springs. I fell in love with the seniors and hearing all the stories they would tell and the way they look at you when you are helping them to do the little things they could no longer do. I have learned all I can about Mountain Springs so I can help make a difference in their lives.

I have lived in Carson City for 17 years. I have 2 daughters, a 15 year old and an 8 year old. My youngest loves to come and visit and do activities with the seniors. I asked one day why she likes to come here and she said they are all like my grandmas and grandpas and she said she even loves the grumpy ones.
